- Heat can certainly be a problem. First, make sure the power supply fan
- is not grinding or stalled, and that it's blowing air into the power
- supply and then out of the machine.

- Also, to quote Christopher Laprise, the vent on the back of the power
- supply is "horribly wrong." Removing one or more of the alternate strips
- of metal can make a big difference in overall operating temperature.

- CPU fans are available which will fit the 68040, but the A3640 comes with
- a heatsink, which is probably adequate if the other problems mentioned
- above are corrected.
